Mobility Solutions Centre

Mobility Solutions Centre is a locally run business and was founded by Shanon Arnold. 

At present, the very products that are created to make life easier for people are unnecessarily difficult to access. We believe that people have a need and desire to maintain their independence for as long as possible. Our aim at Mobility Solutions Centre is to be a one stop shop to help these needs.

We are proud to have the largest showroom of it’s kind in the region and offer these products for sale and hire without having to wait for an assessment. Ourstock includes:

Mobility Scooters
Electric Beds
Lift Chairs
Walking frames
Bathroom/ toileting equipment
Kitchen/ Dining equipment.
 
True to being a one stop shop we can also service, repair and install equipment. We are proud of all  our highly trained staff, who include highly skilled technicians who are held in high regard not only in New Zealand but also Australia. Whether the disability is permanent or temporary, we will supply products to make daily living less difficult and improve independence.

Our stock continues to grow and if we don’t have what you are seeking we will order it. If it is not available we will arrange to have it made.

Please feel free to pop into the shop or give us a call to see what equipment and products are available. You may not need them now, but at least you will know what is available.

Meet the Team

Administration Team - Shanon Arnold is the Managing Director, Shanon is  extremely knowledgeable when it comes to wheelchair seating and all mobility equipment, from wheelchairs to more specialised equipment
Shirley Turner is our sales and administration Manager  she has been with Mobility Solutions Centre for  8 years, she has a great deal of experience working with our clients, also helping in the Admin area is Rochelle Symister who has been with us for 2.5 years , and Ashleigh Van der Vliet who has been with us for just over a year, together the team are here to help

Technical Team -
​ Chris King and our lovely Ted (the dog)  is our Technical Manager, Chris brings a great deal of knowledge and experience to the team with his electrical background of nearly 32 years, Chris  has been with us now for 7 years. Ted (the dog) joined us this year and has been a great asset to the company.

​


Also on our technical team is Ken Doherty a much valued staff member, who has a Automotive Engineering back ground of over 40 years, 

Greg Wilson started with Mobility Solutions back when it was Holden Engineering Greg has a huge amount of experience working with our clients 

Dave Sainsbury is a valued team member he has an Engineering back ground of more than 40 years. 

Alan Johnston has over 30 years experience as a technician and has work here for just over 1 year.

Ross O'Hagen is one of our technicians that works in our  Central Otago Depot, he has a wide range of experience in the Automotive industry along with being a Police Officer for over 40 years Ross has been with us for about 1.5 years

Robert Fenton is our other Central Otago Technician he also has a wide range of experience working with Telecommunications for many years Robert has been with us now for around 2.5 years

Shirley Turner is our Sales and Administration manager, and also a shareholder in the company. Shirley has been with us for 8 years and has a great deal of  knowledge regarding what equipment is available and what would best suite your needs.

Ashleigh van der Vliet is our office administrator, she has been with us for nearly 2 years,  she has s good knowledge of our showroom products, and is a
